The Averon's lightweight yet durable design has been carefully crafted to blend performance, fishability and long term reliability into a stylish large arbour design. The reels benefit from open or closed frame designs, depending on size. Open frame where weight reduction and rapid spool changes are essential and a closed frame is employed on the 5000 EN and 9000 models where thin running lines or specialist euro nymph lines may be used.
